Ascensus

"She is waiting for me. I will bring her back."

A priest, broken by the untimely loss of his wife, discovers an ancient elevator that descends into the bowels of Hell. Like Orpheus before him, he chooses to descend — not to mourn, but to bring her back.

The elevator is his Charon. Every coin is a toll. Every floor is a circle of Hell. Every step down takes him further from the light, and closer to something that does not want him to return.

ASCENSUS is a first-person horror experience. There is no weapon to fight the darkness with. The only thing you have is your faith — and it may not be enough.
